In a large pot, combine fruit, pectin, and lemon juice. Crush fruit using potato masher or pastry cutter.
Bring to a boil over high heat, stirring constantly.
Once the mixture is boiling, add the sugar and stir in. Let boil for one minute, stirring constantly.
Remove from heat and skim foam off the top.
Pour into sterilized jars leaving 1 cm of space at the top. Seal and store.

Ingredients:
1 cup (240 mL) distilled water or sterilized tap water
0.5 tsp (2.5 g) salt (recommend Himalayan salt)
0.5 tsp (2.5 g) baking soda
0.5 tsp (2.5 g) Manuka honey (optional)
Instructions:
1) Add distilled water or sterilized tap water to a clean container. To sterilize tap water, boil the water on high for at least 5 minutes and then let it cool
2) Add salt to the water (can add slightly less or slightly more as tolerated)
3) Add baking soda
4) Add honey (optional)
5) Mix all ingredients together
6) Use solution or store in a closed container. Your homemade saline solution can be stored in the refrigerator or at room temperature for three days.
